The Alliance Center is a holistic maternal mental health center located in Stamford, Connecticut. We specialize in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and provide psychological support, skills building and community connection to parents throughout their reproductive years; preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. As a private, for profit, outpatient perinatal practice, we are the first of our kind in the state of Connecticut. We aim to improve mental health outcomes in the perinatal period for birthing people and their families in Stamford(and across the state virtually) by providing individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, support groups, specialized yoga classes, workshops, and community gatherings by way of clinicians with advanced education and training in maternal mental health. Our diverse and multidisciplinary team is composed of social workers, doulas, lactation counselors, peer specialists, a naturopath, and a psychiatric APRN. Collectively we provide care that is accessible, affordable and culturally competent.
