MAYA Organization is a place for expectant and new parents to experience judgement-free social support, gain knowledge, get connected, and develop skills for navigating the challenges of birth and parenthood. We strive to improve maternal and infant health and advance birth equity. We work with parents living in and around Pittsburgh, from pregnancy through their baby’s first birthday. Our services include classes, individual mentoring, birth doula services, postpartum and breastfeeding support, mental health therapy and assistance with baby items. MAYA’s mission is to provide education and promote the healing process in order to enable women and families to break the cycle of generational trauma and foster the optimal physical and mental development of their children.
