Our collective of Spanish-speaking doulas (pronounced: du-la) is committed to supporting and empowering immigrant and Spanish-speaking families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys. We provide culturally competent and Wholistic care that honors the unique needs and experiences of each family we serve. Our vision is to create a community where every Spanish-speaking family has access to compassionate, skilled, and culturally responsive doula care. We aim to break down barriers and eliminate disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes for immigrant and Spanish-speaking families. We provide bilingual doula services that includes perinatal education, support groups (prenatal/postpartum), childbirth education, and basic needs, such as diapers, wipes, baby clothes, equipment (donation/exchange), and referrals within the collective for doula clients, and community resources needed. We will provide an overall sacred space for birthing people to feel seen and heard in their own language.
Currently, we do not have a location to hold regular support groups or to store any baby needs but will be identifying spaces. We meet clients where they are, at home, or local community organizations and clinics.
