Do Care Doula Foundation Inc is a 501c3 located in Delaware with the mission of decreasing Black birth disparities by providing granted funded Doula support within the Black birthing community. Our community Doula program, Central Delaware Community Doula Program, trains Black Doulas and provides compensation for the births that our Doulas support. Most of our Doulas are trained via Commonsense Childbirth Institute and hold the title of Certified Perinatal Educator which is a Doula, Childbirth and Lactation Educator all in one. We host community events providing information including but not limited to SIDS Awareness, breastfeeding, childbirth education and much more. In addition we provide resources such as pack and plays, travel systems, and more to try to offset the expenses of welcoming a new baby. We have several community partnerships which help us provide amazing resources. Overall our goal is to assist Black birthing people with welcoming their new baby in any way possible.
