As a non-profit 501(c)(3) it is our mission to celebrate Black motherhood and influence favorable outcomes in Black Maternal Health by promoting a community-empowered model of care through our Mombassadors. By providing, gifts, edutainment programming, events and simplifying access to necessary and trusted resources like: birth workers, mental health professionals, business strategists, and more; we’re creating an ecosystem for Black moms as they navigate this journey.
Our platform is for Black moms in three key maternal stages, pregnancy, postpartum and compassion (loss of a child or significant loved one) and the communities who love them. By enlisting Mombassadors we are cultivating a community. Including these fathers, children, cousins, grandparents, dadvocates and more, we’re making a positive impact in the life of our moms.
We are addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and working to reduce the race-related disparities in Black Maternal Health caused by professional neglect and systemic racism. Together we can achieve intergenerational healing from racialized trauma.
